Σούρουπο φτάνω στην Αντέλμα με πλοίο μακρινό
κι ο ναύτης στην ταβέρνα
θυμίζει έναν αδελφό που χάθηκε
μόνος-γνωστοί απ’ το στρατό
Πιο κάτω τρέχει ένα κορίτσι, πως μοιάζει στη Ζωή
που απ’ έρωτα είχε φύγει για πάντα ένα πρωί
Σούρουπο φτάνω στην Αντέλμα, την πόλη των νεκρών
Στους δρόμους πρόσωπα κοιτάζω και φαίνονται γνωστά
Ο δάσκαλος της έκτης μ’ ελάχιστα μαλλιά
φιλά την κυρα Σοφία ξανά
Όλοι με ξέρουν στην Αντέλμα, με σφίγγουν, μου γελούν
Τα παγωμένα χέρια με πνίγουν, μ’ αγαπούν
